Do you have an insatiable desire for the latest technology? Do you crave for the latest mobile phone or computer accessory? Do you want the latest video equipment and television with all the new features?, or are you satisfied with the level of equipment that does the job that you require from it?

I have a craze for all technologies emerging new... But I will wait for a while, before I go about updating my present things. Because technologies would keep on improving...

A wise choice. I try to wait until technology has advanced enough to justify an upgrade.

I would not want to wait too long because than you would be waiting a very long time, unless you are specifically looking for some feature that you want to come out.

I find myself feeling the same about some items. My stereo system is about 8 years old but still in excellent condition, so I cannot see any reason to upgrade it at the moment.

Oh, I have the desire for the latest technology but I try to tether that with whether I can live without it, and how much easier will it make my life versus the cost.

A wise comparison, and a factor that does not seem to matter to a lot of technology addicts.

I am definitely a technology addict. I am always looking forward to upgrading my cell phone every two years when my plan expires, which will be this June. Always looking forward to new computers, software, tvs and everything else that comes out.

I expected that you would be into all the latest technology. Strangely, my mobile phone contract has been up for several months and I have not bothered to upgrade. I have the Sony Ericcson K750i and think that I am better off waiting for a mobile that is worth upgrading to rather than just wasting the upgrade option.

There must be a vast difference in the use of mobile phones between our countries, because I have had bluetooth on my mobile for over 3 years now. It is perfect for transmitting images and tunes from my computer.

That is a very good point in waiting for a better phone to come out with better features. I would like to have the bluetooth technology with my phone that I see many other people using. That is the one feature that I do not have that I would like and am sure the next phone will have it.

Well, I think theres some difference between a technology addict and a gadget freak. I would call myself just a gadget freak.

Yes, I appreciate the difference but in reality it amounts pretty much to the same.

I'm not, but my husband is. He's technologyholic.
