Whats wrong with using a search engine????

i am curious, why do people feel the need to ask questions that could clearly be answered best using a search engine..i know people want to add to their discussion numbers but all i ever want to write when i come across em is...google it or look it up..... but i dont cos that would be rude

Yes, you're right. Some questions only require*googling* but no matter how many times you explain it, some people have no idea how to use search engines. Yes, it's true! Some people find it hard enough to use a keyboard and do simple things on the PC so it's easier to get someone else to do your research for you. On another forum I have seen students put up their homework questions. LOL.

i guess i take logic for granted LOL thats a bit scary, ya expect kids to have more of a working knowledge of the net than adults thanks for the comments guys...i thought it was just me LOL

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've only posted a couple of questions before, but when I did, it was on stuff that I'd already done a lot of searching on and wasn't very successful.

sometimes searching doesnt come up with much ....ive also searched for things for people and got more than they ever did.....i hope you got the info you required...tho i notice you did on one....smiles

Actually mylot looks very real and asking a question here and getting answered looks very personalised. So most of us do this.
