Were you forced to go to church as a child?

No, I was not forced to go to church as a child. My wife and her sister were forced to go. I think it was a bad idea. My sister-in-law now has a life long animosity towards the church and organized religion. My wife's feelings are sort of neutral to on the negative side. My parents-in-law forcing my wife and her sister to go to church did not have the expected results. Overall, it was a bad idea.

Not at all, although my parents are Christians they felt we had a right to choose our own religion and took us periodically but it was never forced. When we reached 13 we were offered Confirmation but I knew by then that my beliefs were different and I chose to follow my heart rather than copying my parents beliefs.
