Is there anything you'd like to have done differently on your wedding day?

I'm just wondering does anyone else look back and wish they'd done something different on their wedding day. For me I wish I had had different musicians in the church. I would like to have had a different band at the reception. I would tell the photographer what photos I'd like instead of letting him decide because I have no photos of me with my best friend on my wedding day. I had a great day and have great memories but I'd just like to change those little things if I could.

I would have loved to have an actual wedding for my wife. We didn't have much money and ended up getting married at the court house. It also would have been nice if her side of the family could have attended.

Oh, that's a pity. How long have you been married? Could you have a renewal?

We've been married 3 years. A renewal is something we've talked about but we still can't see spending the money on a big ceremony.

Its never too late. Just make a wedding fund envelope and start putting a dollar or two in it every chance you get and one day it will be up there. Maybe you could mention it to your family and friends and they just might contribute to it every once in a while. You don't even have to tell your wife. Maybe two years from now you could suprise her on your 5th wedding anniverary with a wedding. Or you could stay on mylot 23 hours a day and try to build up funds that way. Good luck and remember, its never too late.

hey, don't get shocked, but i wish for the umpteenth time that i had married someone else, someone better, even after all these years. yes, my marriage is getting worse with time - the only thing i love is my little one: i couldn't live without him.

I was married for 10 years and I really, really wish I hadn't turned up .. we didn't need a marriage .. we just needed each other .. getting married completely spoiled the relationship ... it slowly went downhill from day one .. yet we had been engaged for 3 years .. so we really knew each other well before getting married .. would I ever get married again .. you bet I wouldn't .. come live with me I'd say .. marry you .. never !

I had an amazing wedding.......guess you can call it a typical fairy tale wedding. However, If i had the choice, I wouldnt of had any of it. Really put us out of pocket.....could have saved all that money and had our own house today. Really makes a big difference!

Sometimes I feel the same, especially as there are so many people who were at our wedding that I never even see now.

we get married in a very simple way... only in church... the reception is also very simple... because we don't have money... so, if i have a chance to change it, i would like to have a proper wedding like what everybody have and i would like my horse carriage to come (because the horse carriage that i order on that day didn't turn up...)

wedding day - wedding day
Humm.... I believe that no matter how much we prepare for our wedding we still cannot make it perfect. Those imperfections make the wedding more memorable. I still remember the little kid that almost got drowned on the small pond beside the gazebo where we are seated. Everybody laughed at that scene. It was so hilarious. Don't worry the kid wasn't hurt in anyway.Hehehee

I would have taken time to enjoy the day. It went by too quickly! I remember almost every second of it, but it flew by. I regret not taking more time with the pictures, but our flowers were late, so I blame the florist for that one. I wish I could have gotten some pictures taken outside, but the scenery wasn't great (church is in a residential area), and the neighborhood dogs poop on the church's grass. I also bought these awesome paper parasols for the bridesmaids to take pics with outside, and we completely forgot about them!

Yes, the day goes by so quickly. I wish I hadn't had the glass of champagne that I had because I think that made me forget little bits of the day too.

Oh definitely. I think of lots of things that I would like to have done different. I should have shot my in-laws. I should have eloped so that I wouldn't have to look at all the moany old guests at my reception - some I had never seen in my life and have never seen since. I should have left any scroungy presents I had received, at the hotel, to be returned to the miserable donors. The list of thinkgs is endless. Please don't get me wrong. I wouldn't like to change my husband (he's got lots of money - only kidding), just his parents and the circus of a reception.

I wish I had used a different Dj. I wish my photographer would have actually gotten a decent picture of DH & I with our 2 daughters. Our oldest was 3 & scared by what was going on. The only pictures of her were taken at the church & she was crying her eyes out. I wish we had gone with a professional to do our wedding video.

I wish I had had a video too, especially of the reception. I've no photos or video of the reception. If I wanted photos of my husband and I, then I would just dress up again in my wedding dress, hire him a suit, and go to the photographer's studio and get photos done. Would this be possible for you?

Which wedding? I have been married twice. We should have waited until the summer instead of marrying in March. It snowed 3 feet. The second, we should have just said our vows in front of a justice of the peace with our kids as witnesses.

My wedding day - Wedding day aug 13th 1988
We were married in a small church my only regret was not having more of my friends there my husband has a big family and mine not as big but still big so we only had room for a few friends each. If we could do it again i would have had a bigger church with all my friends and a big party afterwords. We are renewing our vows for our 20th with is only 2 years away so ya never know. This will be a very informal gathering though.

When we got married our son was 3 month old, so I was still HUGE from being pregnant. You can only lose so much weight after giving birth, and I was very big. So looking back at all my wedding pictures, I was the largest I ever was and that is very upsetting to me. My husband feels bad that I feel this way, and has said on our 10 year anniversary we get renew our vows and have a big fancier wedding, where I can feel better about myself. I love him so much for planning that with me, too bad I have 6 years to go! Plenty of time to be a size 6 though! Ah, someday

I have very few pictures of my wedding. Our pictures were a gift from a friend of my husbands. He was a freelance photographer. He was killed two weeks after we were married. His brother brought us all the negatives and we had mosly slides made. I did have a few blown up but never put a wedding album together. It just reminded me of him. So...if I would have chosen a different photographer, I would have pictures.

It's very sad that you have no photos, but it's so sad that your husband's friend was killed.
