I think it is the heart, what is inside someone. I think it is all around us, all of God's creations.

Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you hold love inside for all things then beauty surrounds what you see.

certainly everyone has an actual concept of beauty, otherwise we would go behind to the same woman/man

I think beauty depends on symetry. The most beautiful faces are the most symmetrical and even.

Unfortunately for some, beauty is purely what the magazines tell them is beautiful. I mean, why do you think people that believe obese women are incredibly sexy don't share their love with other male friends? Because to think a 'fat woman' is sexy is just not the social norm. I think as far as attraction goes, deep inside there is no boundaries or criteria for most. Yet higher up in the psyche, the mind seems to pick the faults, the excess weight, freckles, pale skin, and perceive them as different from the medias idea of manufactured beauty, and therefore 'not desireable'.

beauty is not only measured by the physical attriubutes of the person but as well as the inside, his/her attitude. I don't mind if my girlfriend is beautiful outside as long as she has a great personality.

Beauty is in every one of us, but everyone's beauty is different, some are beautiful to love, some are beautiful as friends, some are beautiful to others, some are beautiful to cherish. Beauty to me is my cats and seeing them curled up on the sofa together, they all hold indepth beauty and beauty which I truly appreciate.

beauty should not be looked at the physical appearance of a person. The beauty sholud be found within the inner self. I wonder why being beautiful was only based by how you looked, when it should be the totality of a person. I met beautiful on the outside people but when I realize their true selves whish is very far from being beautiful. I lost lost the admiration for them. I admire people who may not be beautiful outside but knows how to respect others and knows the golden rule, that's being beautiful.

I have the feeling I've responded to this question before, but here it is anyway. Beauty is what is in a person's soul.. inside them, in other words. It doesn't matter what they look like if they have a loving, caring and trusting soul. The saying goes beauty is only skin deep, but I strongly disagree with that. Give me love, honour, trust and sharing and in my book, you are beautiful. :-)
