Did you know that blueberries are also good for UTI's. Studies have shown that the polyphenols in the blueberries prevent detrimental bacteria from adhering to the wall of the bladder, making it harder for infections to continue. Does anybody have any good blueberry recipes or is there another food or illness you would like to know more about.

I think you're thinking about cranberries. Those are great for UTI's. Blueberries are good for you because they contain lots of antioxidants.

Yes, cranberries are very good for UTI's, but research has found that so are cranberries. All the information I get for my posts are from medically researched journals and therefore is not just made up.

I heard the same thing about blueberries. I am so grateful because when I had a kidney infection many years ago I had to drink cranberry juice...three large bottles a day for 6 days. Needless to say I am not a big fan of cranberry anything now. I love blueberries and suck those down like crazy and haven't had any UTI's since.
