Referrer and Referee (earnings)

I'm just wondering what does the 25% means. Does it mean that the 25% of my earnings will go to the one who referred me? Meaning I'm going to lose 25% of earnings? I'm just confused coz everytime I tried to refer someone, he/she will always end up typing www.mylot.com instead of using my link coz they don't want to lose that 25%. Is that really the case?

no, you don't loose anything. but if you earn 10, your referrer will earn 2.5, that's it. It's not deducted to your account.

No, the 25% will be given to them but it won't be taken from you. As far as I understand it anyway. I think the people you refer are just spiteful. :]

No. You wont lose any $. It just mean that the referer will earn an additionl 25 % of what the person he refer earned (as an incentive for bringing another member to this site).
