You probably can learn some sentences and words especially if author of discussion is an person with native english language. It's quite hard to learn english from the internet without explanation and I suggest You to learn from a book. You need to understand grammar at first place.

Hello you.. I find yourself so funny. (in a good way!) It's quite nice isn't it? Finding there is a place giving you money while you're learning as well. It motivates us. Welcome to myLot and hope you also make good friends here. As I am also a newbie, and English is also NOT my first languange; so I could relate to your situation right now. Btw, you said you're an IT worker. Can you be more specific? (only if you don't mind telling us)

I wish you all the best, though I do think I'd best forwarn you that English is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn, due mostly to the fact that it borrows from so many other languages. Though another thing that makes English so hard to learn is the grammatical rules that occasionally contradict themselves, and all the various exceptions to rules in English. I would love to help you in any way that I can with improving your English, it sounds like a noble pastime. I must say, though, if you've managed to learn Chinese (which I'm told is THE hardest language in the world to learn) then you should do fine with English--at least as long as you can get the grammar figured out! *^_^* Don't worry too much about it. Some people who've been speaking English all their lives still aren't very good at it. You may want to look into getting a book on the rules of English grammar, simply because there are so many of them, but if that's not practical, I'm sure you can find persons here (like myself) who will be happy to help you with your English. You're doing quite well for a beginner, so far. Since you did ask if you'd done anything wrong, I'll give you a more-proper rendition of your post: "Hi, all! I am from China and I am an IT worker. I want to make more money, so I want to learn English, and I found this bbs. I believe I can be sucessful. Does this sentance have an error? I am a beginner. Hoho." One quick tip: I know that capitalization isn't much used in Eastern tounges, but in English we use it a LOT. The pronoun "I" is always captiatlized. Names of countries and languages are always capitalized. So is the first letter of the first word of a sentance. Good luck to you!
