Yes, I've seen Meerkat Manor, they are adorable and have quite a matriarchial society going on!

Oh, that is a great show! My 9 year old is addicted to animal shows, and used to watch animal channel all the time. She loved that show, and got me hooked too! We just moved and have dish tv and we don't get that channel now, she is so bummed, and so am I. We really miss Steve Irwin too

No animal planet? What a bummer. We love Animal Planet. My son loves animals - especially penguins.

I just started watching it. I find it fascinating. They're cute, but it's also exciting.

I agree. There is something fascinating about watching animals in their natural habitat undisturbed by humans.

I saw it and I thought it was cute. I just don't like it when they don't interfer in situations that wouldn't make a difference (like when the pup accidently got left)

If they did interfere, that would not be good for the Meerkats. If they had moved that baby Meerkat and the pack wouldhave come back for it, the baby may not had been accepted again. Plus, the point of the show is to watch them in their own habitat undisturbed by humans and to watch how they interact and get through their day to day trials.

I love this show! It's amazing what complex little lives they have. It is almost like watching a soap opera! I think it is so neat how they each have such distinct personalities.
