Most of the time when people talk about 2pac, they're talking about his music. But there was a much deeper, calmer side to him, and he made that very clear in his poetry. Have you read any of his poetry? If so, what's your favorite poem? Mine is below...Pac called it "autobiographical." The Rose that Grew from Concrete By: Tupac Shakur Did u hear about the rose that grew from a crack In the conrete? Proving nature's laws wrong it learned 2 walk Without having feet. Funny it seems but by keeping its dreams It learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete When no one else even cared!

yeah I've owned this book since it came out 7 years ago! although I am finding it interesting that people are acting like this is an entire different side of pac. The MC is a poet, therefore I have heard everything he wrote labelled as "poems" in "the rose that grew from concrete" in his music. To me there wasn't something hidden in these poems that you couldn't get anywhere else, just listen to his music.

2pac's lyrics is so deep. Im a No. 1 Fan of pac. Pac Is just expressing the real thing, i mean the real life and how it goes. he belived that thers a good in everybody and everybody needs to be given a chance to make the world better.

I didn't know he was a poet. I really liked that poem! Thanks for that, missy, I'm going to see if I can find some of his other poems.

oh i dont even there was poems written by pac , thanks for bringing this out. the two poems here are really good.

yeah i have that book..."the rose that grew from concrete".Everything that comes out of his mouth is real to me.I cant say i have a favorite cuz him in general is my favorite.
