My friend is pregnant and she doesn't want to keep the baby because she says she doesn't love the guy,now she's thinking about The Abortion.and ask me to go to the hospital with her and to keep it a secret,I say hell no,I'm gonna stop it and tell the father of the baby about it.What do u think?

How far along is she? It is traumatic for a woman to undergo abortion, both physically and mentally, so she should really go for counselling first before making the decision.
I'm not for or against abortion, but I believe that it's a personal choice and you should respect her wishes. Your friend has many factors to consider. Even if she were to give the child up for adoption, there's still that 9-10 months of carrying the baby.
I think that if she still has time, that is, she's not more than 3 months pregnant, then try to keep this to yourself first. Whether telling the guy will stop her from getting the abortion really depend on her relationship with him, letting him know may just make her more determined to abort.

Please prove to me that every woman who goes through abortions will go through a experience that is damaging both physically and emotionally. That is bull---not everyone who has an abortion will become traumatized.

How exactly is pointing out a very valid point about the number of unwanted children already in the system, in any way shape or form, a strawman? I seriously think you need to either go back to school, or stop using terms you don't understand.

Murder is the legal term for the unlawful killing of another person.
Abortion is legal.
So someone please tell me how abortion can be murder when it is still clearly legal.

Yes it is, you have soemthign alive that if you don't wnat someone else can raise but you are killing it. That is murder. I think people try to justify it so they don't have to think about what they are doing. Also, I think if you knew what they did to kill the babies you would think twice about it. People try to justify abortion by saying our foster care system is full. That's true, these childrn do not go into foster care in the US, they are adopted. A lot of people are having open adoptions and the mother can choose the family even have a say in the child's upbringing. I ahve even saw stories where the mom was in the childs life so they knew each other but she was more like an aunt or a good/close family friend.

I do not want to be mean, but I do not agree with your opinions. Murder is a legal term that refers to the unlawful killing of another person. I fail to see how anyone can consider abortions to be murder when they are clearly legal. There is also the fact that you can still kill someone, and not be charged with murder. I think a good example of this would be self-defense.
The adoption system right now is both overcrowded and biased. Most people go there hoping that they can their pretty hands on a precious, adorable, healthy, white newborn. The truth is that most of the people in the system are older children, dark-skinned, mixed, or mentally retarded. People will put their names on waiting list for white newborns. But at the same time they are ignoring the fact that they are millions of other children waiting to be adopted. They might even stay in the situation until they are of a legal age. Even if they are adopted it does not mean that they will live a happy life. It does not mean that they will be with a loving family. People want newborns. They want nothing to do with the other children or people of other races. Prove to me that most of the children get adopted. Prove to me that putting them up for adoption is truly the best choice.
Adoption does not solve a unwanted pregnancy. It simply solved unwanted parenting.
I know what they do during abortion, but what I am thinking of is probably not the same thing you are. You have probably seen one of the many hoaxes that anti-abortion propaganda sites put up.

helooooo......i think your doing a right job by informing the father about what is going to happen with his child..and you can also say to your friend that if she doesnt like the guy then why did she move with him.and now killing the innocent child which doesnt know anything.......
why to kill such a innocent and small child which has not seen yet this beautiful world??? according to me you are a good friend and a good human too.......

I don't think she has the right to do it.And I don't think it's just about her,because the father of that baby has the right to decide if they want it or notBut I'm gonna stop her from making a huge mistake in her life.Anyway,Thanks for your response.

Aint it the truth? It is pretty sad to see those pictures. It just makes you realize how blind people really are. It is a cold cold world out there. Full of selfishness, lust, and injustice.
Those aborted babies are no different than a murdered homeless man. They both had blood, life, and started out as a fetus.

A blind and injust world. I agree with your comment. If you are not blind, then it should make you shudder to think of the Democratic leaders defending the practice of partial birth abortion. Most people would never treat a puppy this way, yet they are willing to kill other humans by ramming an instrument into the back of the skull and destroying the brain.

"Those pictures" are often faked, touched up, photos of late term (illegal) abortions or of still born babies- not abortions. If you were to hold up a picture of an actual abortion performed in the first trimester, it wouldn't make much of a point at all- it wouldn't look much different than a used sanitary product.
An early termination is NOTHING like a murdered homeless person or any murdered person. An early pregnancy does not have the characteristics of life, it does not have the ability to survive outside of a woman's body; it is not a life and therefor can not be "murdered".

He...i think you are doing the right thing here.It is really bad on her part to go abortion at this stage and it should be considered as morder as it is already in the advanced stage and she doesn't have any right to go for abortion now.It is because of those loop holes in the law these people are escaping and you are doing the right thing and you should go ahead...

Yes, the father can have a opinion. But it is not his decision because he is not going to be the one carrying the baby for nine months. He is not going to be the one to give birth, etc. I don't think it makes sense that the guy should even have the right to choose what the woman does with HER body.
I do not think abortion should be countered as murder; for the vary that reason that murder refers to the unlawful killing of another person. Last time I checked abortion was still legal, and it was going to say legal for a long time. There is also the fact that a fetus does not have any rights. It will not gain those rights until the second that is born. The truth is that the fetus is not a citizen in any country. Why should any laws apply to it?

Every woman has the right to choose if she wants or no one baby. Do you think that you have the moral right to intervent in her relation and to betray her trust informing the father about it? This is her desicion, RESPECT IT. And avoid to judge.

I think abortion is equivalent to murder. In fact more than a murder. The would-be-baby never gets to see the light of this world due to a decision by them who were supposed to look after the baby.
There are some who supports abortion of a baby who may not born as a normal baby. I feel if we support this logic then are we finishing of the lifes of several other human beings who are also not normal.
As an adult we are supposed to think and act not act and then start thinking. I am strongly against abortion.

No, I don't believe that abortion is a murder. It really depends on the lady whether she wants a child or not. And your friend also has her freedom to choose and should do whatever she wishes to do. And if you tell this to the father of the child, you would really be cheating your own friend. So, every decision you take should be taken after putting in a lot of thought into it.
