Where exactly do you go to meet new couple friends?

My fiancee and I both don't make friends very easily and treasure the friends that we had when we were single but finding couples to enjoy activities with and such is difficult. We don't go to church anymore and we are not huge social butterfly's so we stick with the chums that we have which is difficult becuase neither of us particularly like one another's friends.
