Is Superman Returns a good movie?

I like watching Smallville and have seen all of the other Superman movies. I was considering renting this movie, and wanted to get some opinions as to whether this is a good movie or not.

Nah, I think the older version of Superman were far better than the new one. The graphics are good but the story sucks.

I thought it was good. I have to say I'm no fan of Smallville. But, I thought Brandon Routh did a good job not only as Superman, but especially as Clark Kent. And, I'm a big fan of Kevin Spacey, so him in it was a big plus. It wasn't the best Superman movie (the Christopher Reeve ones still hold that spot) but it was good judged on its own merit.

i didnt like it. i watch smallville too and i like that alot better.
