Do Muslims also celebrate at Christmas eve? What do they do during Christmas? Do they have Gift giving during this day? Is it just another day for them? Do they sing carols?

no... we do not celebrate cristmast. I agree with koerperation said. He explain it well in holly quran write "Lakum dinukum waliyadin." "For you is your religion and for me is my religion" So there will be no celebration to celebrate other religion celebration ^^ but we still respect them with not make noise, don;t disturb them ^^

Just tax them the jizya while you're at it? Or hang any apostates that celebrate it?

You're right, that kind of stuff isn't very nice, is it? Why does the Koran advocate it then?

nop, chrismast is christiants' tradition, no obligation for moslems to celebrate, there's even fatwa to forbid moslem from celebrating it. because the different point of view which one of them is: in christians Jesus is considering as God (son of God in the trinity concept), in Islam he's a prophet, so celebrating it would considered as shirk (believe that there's another god besides Allah) afterall in some literatur december 25th is not the date where the christ born

what a nice comment you give. This comment have shows that you also have a raw mentality... Do u really know about muslim?...Yes we did not celebrate the christmas eve but in my country peoples celebrates christmas, they have open house so other religions friends can celebrate together. How you know that muslims are close minded?... I want to ask you,..(i am sure you are christian) do u celebrate the eid day as muslims celebrate?!...Don't just simply said negatively about muslims as you do not know them better. Thanks

I don't think that they have anything to do with Christmas, as they do not believe in Christ.

In Sri Lanka, Muslims celebrate everything. You will see evidence if you go to our amusement parks on Christmas day. We too, being Christians celebrate Vesak, the Buddist festival, Thai Pongal, the Hindu festival and Ramazan, the Muslim festival. The food is Yummy. It is a win or loose we boose situation here.

Muslims also wish their christian friends during Christmas. They share the happy moments of their friends. I have also one Christian friend an I wish him on the day of Christmas every year.

I think it's just another day for muslims. Some don't even put up decorations for the kids. I was talking to a muslim lady and at the end of the conversation I said Merry xmas. It wasn't until after I said Merry xmas that I relized she was muslim. She responded by saying have a good week.

Well friend your question is now becoming obsolete. Muslims, Christians and Hindus are all along celebrating one anothers festival in unison. The reason being that in a society which has now become cosmopolitan you cannot differentiate among the neighbours. Likeise people go to mosques, churches and temples as though they belong there.

First of all, lets make it clear: what do we celebrate on christmas??? yes...bravo...jeses was born. Now, the question about its the same like a muslim will ask u what are u doing during the ramadan, their religious celebration. They are doing nothing. Do u celebrat hannuka??? NO...coz u r christian. Yes, christmas day , its just an ordinary day for muslims. No, they dont sing anything during christmas. I have been living in Kuwait for 6 months and soon i am going back there. THey are taking care of their lifes and religion. I was there during ramadan and i didnt celebrate it with them. Coz, in case that u didnt know, in ramadan, during the day light, muslims are not allowed to smoke , eat or drink anything. ANd this is for an entire month ( sept-oct ).I hope i gave u enough informations.
