Do you think sending e-cards is better than printed greeting cards?

I feel sending e-cards are much better than those of sending printed cards. Those are faster, cheaper, sure-to-reach-the-person, environment friendly and less-space-occupying. What do you feel?

I agree with you. I feel that sending e-cards is a wise option. I prefer this as it is cheaper, faster and more colorful, meaningful and adds music to it. I have switched from Postal cards to E-cards and now I am feeling that I made a good decision. I am not missing anyone of my friends in greeting them at the right time. Easy and flexible to send a greeting to all of my contacts with one shot. Post cards are too expensive these days.

i totally agree with u. they are sent much quickly and reach the person on your selected date. the regular cards have to be spent on and there is not telling that when they will be delivered. ecards also have animations in them so i think that e-cards are better then printed cards.

I think they serve same purpose. the recipient can print is if he/she wants to. There are some e-cards that allows you to customise to your own taste. The only limitation is that you can not sign it. I see that you already mention all the advantages.of e-card. and that is why i like it two. Notwithstanding, some still think it is more real when you mail printed cards to them

I actually like sending the printed cards. With them I can add a personal touch to them by adding in a special note to my friends and family.

It is not so. The message can have more personal touch in an e-card, because you can edit that on the e-card 1001 times before you finally send it.

E-Cards are one way of sending a special greeting to someone whose street address you may not know. Here is one of the cards that I send: http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?cont=1&hdr=0&pv=XS01EN I really prefer to send a printed card, though, because it is more personal and you can put it where you can see it at any time, not just on the computer.

Isn't it just a mental block? Just think: You hunt for a good printed card for your close person. In the same way you browse for a good e-card. You sign on a printed card carefully, in the same way your message on e-cards appear from the deepest core of your heart. Both are same. But e-card is guaranteed to reach the destinee, whereas the printed card may be lost on the way or may reach a different person. Tell me what is better?

E-cards are the best form of sending greetings, agreed, but Some persons do not have a net connection so i think the printed cards are also very good plus printed cards do hold a value like gifts

That is correct, that's why I say it should change slowly. Let us (who have e-connectivity in hand)start it.

It is really a good decision. We all should gradually switch over to this process.

I think it is always better to have printed greeting cards. :) If in case i will receive one, i would really be happier with it than an online greeting card. Of course i appreciate if someone has remembered me but i wish we can still go back to the way it used to be at times.

I like sending E-cards than the original cards. As E-cards have many kinds of formats such as flash, gif and so on. It is better than the printed greeting card. Besides, a printed greeting card means it has to use a tree. Nowadays I pay attention to protect our planet. So I will try to use less paper.

Yes you are right and also it is good for that site owner( more eye balls) and it is bad for shop owners( no sales or fewer sales)
