Can you tell if someone is lying to you?

What are the 17 different things (or 20 for women) - do you think they really exist? Can you tell when you're being lied to, and how do you know?

i dont know about other guys, but i will always know when my bf is not being truthful and he's really bad at lying...he got that 'i'm lying' kinda look LOL

My fiance has a look, too! :) Usually it's just if he forgot to do something I asked him to do, and he'll get that look on his face, b/c he's planning on doing it the second his back is turned but doesn't want to admit that he forgot, ha ha! :)

LOL this is so funny! my bf is pretty ok with that...just that he got this sad puppy look that sometimes, i just cant bear to stay angry with him too long...but he's a very honest guy!

1) avoiding eye contact (especially if their eyes are looking over to the lower right corner)
2) touching their face
3) stuttering

I wonder why lower right corner is untruthful...???
I know stuttering, also eye twitching is usually a useful clue to tell someone is being untruthful and lying.

Well I dunno bout 17 different things there. But my way to look someone is lying to me is ... Just look at her/his both eyes when you asked something or assure something. Remember just look at the eyes If you want to know someone lying or not

its funny but i know all my friends too well, no1 can get away by lyin to me, i am a human lie detector, i can ALWAYS tell when some1 is lyin bou anytin, even the smallest detail, some of my friends are gettin sick off it!!!

Well, if they are your friends, they shouldn't be lying to you!!! My mom can always tell, even when I'm just on the phone talking to her. If I'm in person, there's no escape, she WILL FIND OUT.
