Ghost hunt any one?

December 26, 2006 3:16pm CST
Have you ever gone on OR would you like to go on....a ghost hunt? I personally would LOVE to. Just now I can't have two small children and I don't want to leave them with someone while Mommy goes chase casper. However soon as they are age to start leaving me, I am sooooo going to go on one. What about you, would be will to? Have you? Did you find anything?

Ghost hunting is a very educational hobby. I think it would do your kids a power of good to go ghost hunting with Mommy. I know several bird watchers who take their kids on many a trip. It teaches them the importance of being absolutely quiet, to not mind cold, wet, bramble scratches or ants in one's knickers. In the case of ghost hunting, you would be teaching much the same field skills and would also being giving a salutary lesson in how to deal with ultimate boredom, repeated disappointment, low-light photography and how not to be scared of the dark.

LOL, I can see it now. "Ok girls you have to be very quiet so we might find a ghost". 2 seconds later.... I'M TIRED...MOMMY I HAVE TO PEE....STOP TOUCHING ME, SHE'S TOUCHING ME! ... I do beleive at that point I would be the most unrested spirit there!

one word replies are against the rules. You've been reported and got your self a fine new shiny "-". BTW if you post on topic and manage to squeeze out more than 3 words, you get a "+" for your work. So are your the only one that didn't. Congrats! Thanks for posting :-)

I've been a member of East Tennessee Paranormal Research Society for a year and have gone on several "ghost hunts." I just recently got my first EVP (electronic voice phenomena). For an explanation of what that is, go to my blog where I posted today about it and where you'll be able to listen to it: Also, to hear and see some of the evidence our group has found over the past year, go to The most interesting thing that's happened to me on any of our investigations was when I (and several group members) heard voices and heard the squeeky hinge of a door opening upstairs in a haunted restaurant when there was no else in the building but us. That was very cool. :)

I have never gone on a ghost hunt, but I am interested in TV programs that involve such capers. I hope that one day you get the chance to go on a ghost hunt - it sounds like a lot o fun! ^_^ I'm not sure if I believe in ghosts as people generally picture and think of them, but I wouldn't mind being proven wrong. I do feel that there are spirits all around us, though, but I don't know that they ever manifest themselves in a form that we as human beings can see.
