Self-employed?

For income tax purposes, I am considered self employed, but I have a Boss Who Thinks I work for Him!

i have been trying so hard to be self-employed for about 6 months now. but i still haven't find out how exactly to earn without being somebody's employee.i have been an employee for about ten years now and since my daughter will be going to school, i want to have more time for her. the bad thing is that i have not saved any money for the ten years that i have worked; worse, i am still into a lot of debts. so i thought to myself perhaps i need to find another means to earn and still watch over my daughter..

I work for someone else. Right now I am working for my mom's best friend. I haven't been self employed, but I would like to be. I think I would be tougher on myself like you.
