So Saddam's dead...but is the death penalty right?

December 30, 2006 8:42am CST
Saddam Hussain is just one of the many to be executed by a political party, so my question to you is this: Death Row, Middle Eastern governments, Honour Killings, and Mercy Killings...they may all seem different, but at the end of the day, don't they all mean the same thing? Aren't they all making a life-or-death decision for another person? And does anyone have the right to stop someone else's life? And how can society punish someone for taking away another person's life by doing exactly the same thing? Was the UK right for banning executions?

I think Bush has done a great mistake.

Why do you say that? I mean, I think he made a mistake even SEARCHING for the weapons of mass distruction, and that he shouldn't have gotten involved...but I don't get your point...
