I was wondering what exactly do dreams mean? Some of my repeat dreams are, I'm chewing chewing gum and I try to take it out of my mouth and I pull it and it's stuck on my teeth. The whole dream is me pulling and pulling but the gum keeps coming out.It is so stuck on my teeth. There is never an end till I wake up! another dream is I am trying to call someone and while punching in the numbers I get them all right till I get to the last number and I go to punch that in and I always miss and hit the wrong one. And the dream starts all over again! So what do you dream about?

I read an interesting dream interpretation about chewing gum... the interpreter said that gum stuck in the mouth can represent something in your life that is unresolved... a problem or a lesson that you have to "chew on" and understand. Trying to get rid of the gum (or the problem) apparently signifies that you are trying to just not deal with it - and the more you try to avoid it, the bigger and bigger it becomes (such as, in your dream, where you keep pulling and pulling but there is just more and more). For the incomplete phone number, I found this: "To see a phone number in your dream, suggests that you need to make contact with someone and reach out for help. To dream that you cannot remember or find a phone number, suggests that you need to start being more independent and responsible." Another reference suggests that having trouble making a phone call is linked to a communication problem with someone in your waking hours, that the person is unreachable or not there for you. You might be interested in this website called Dream Moods... they have this dream dictionary that's a fun read :) http://www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/

Oh, you're very welcome :) I love the idea of dream interpretation and you gave me a reason to go looking for information again. I have that dictionary bookmarked so I can look things up for myself too LOL Have you ever tried writing down your dreams like some people suggest? I think I might try that sometime because I often remember what I was dreaming about when I first wake up but then, in a matter of minutes, I forget most of the detail. Unless it's a nightmare... unfortunately, with THOSE, it's like I have a photographic memory :(
