I collected first day issued stamps for quite sometime but had to stop because I ran into some financial problems. I still have quite a few of them in an album. Each stamp has a matching gold plated image of the stamp on metal.

I actually do collect stamps. So far I only collect US stamps. I got into it because when I was a little girl my parents gave me a stamp album, and I used to collect stamps that I would come across and stick them in a big bag. Recently I found them all and have been in the process of organizing them and working on acquiring new ones. I have a fair amount of them from the 1990s in the US.
