I know Saddam was a genocidal murderer and most of his actions weren't justified, but does anyone sympathize?

ya i also think that punishment could have been milder

He made his choice and was an evil man. But I do sympathize that anybody throws away their life so uselessly. I would like to see the world come together in peace and love and respect each other but I know that is not going to happen.
