In what colors have you decorated your home? Is there a reason for the color schemes you have chosen?

When we bought our current house,I wanted to paint the dining room brick red, which my husband thought would look awful. He humored me and after it was done, he loved it. Most of the house is in natural colors, which I really love. The lady who lived here before us had a major thing for purple, so we had a lot of painting to do after we moved in. The kitchen walls were a horrible bright blue with HUGE purple flowers painted on them. The kitchen walls are now the color of coffee with cream in it. Much better!

All the walls in our home are painted China Doll, from Sherwin Williams.
