Can someone be hypnotized into being more confident?

that's kinda..questionable I guess. Usually you can't influence someone to do something they don't truly want to do. Hyponotism works with the brain not against it..so it just depends..maybe they have a brain disease and they can't help but have their criminal impulses..it just all depends I suppose.
