I'm a jewellery junkie. I can't get out of my workshop and live in overalls and earprotectors most of the time! Great look eh! I make unusual items out of copper, silver and rocks. I'm also a rock fiend and get very excited when I see some nice ones on ebay - hubby thinks I'm mad. I make jewellery for a living and it's very competitive. I've recently been asked to exhibit a few of my pieces in a posh gallery in the City - but whether or not that will actually happen, i don't know. lol

I dabbled in jewelry making, but only did basic beading projects such as necklaces, bracelets and earrings. My finances did not allow the more expensive supplies. My children also loved to join in on the fun. They really made some beautiful patterns when designing their necklaces or bracelets. My oldest daughter took up the craft and made some wonderful jewelery. She would purchase unique beads for her designs and was making some good money. Unfortunately she has rheumatoid arthritis and could no longer use her hands for such intricate work and had to give it up.

Oh wow I LOVE using polymer clay and fimo pieces in my jewellery. I'm addicted to polymer clay roses at the moment, they look so cute and lifelike! I make jewellery as a hobby and sell at a few local craft fairs. I'm trying to break into using sterling silver but tend to use silver plated findings mostly.

I have a table im my spare room covered in jewellery making stuff, and i have sold lots of pieces through a forum i frequent. Mind you, i've kept quite a few pieces too! my love started becuase i have an obsession with earrings, and thought how fun it would be to make my own!

I like to make my own earrings. I've sold quite a few pairs on Ebay and people seem to like them. I'm just starting to work with tiger tail which is new and interesting. It's a great art form and I find jewellery making very relaxing. I also love going shopping for new beads and charms. I don't really wear that much jewellery but I still love to make it!

Iused to make Jewelry a lot more than I do now. Over the last year or so I just haven't had the bug to do it. When I did however, I loved working with silver and natural stone beads. The majority of work was with natural stones. I also enjoyed looking up some of the properties of the stones and making custom pieces for family and friends. For example, a friend who was having twouble sleeping (with nightmares mixed in) got an amethyst bracelet. Another fried who was just going through a hard time in general, got some hemetite. Both friend said the pieces really helped them. I'm not sure if they were just trying to make me feel better, or what. But it made me feel good to have helped in a creative way.

while I don't do it that often, I do enjoy making jewellry from time to time. For a long time, I liked to make delicate beaded rings, but then they broke a lot after I tried to wear them for a little bit. I also like to make beaded earings and necklaces. It's a really nice way to make some really individual and personal peices. Also, if you find that you have an outfit with nothing to match with it, then you can always just try to make you own stuff.
