You probably already know the answer to this from our previous discussions but, I love James Patterson and Patricia Cornwell.among a few others. They both write predominantly crime/fiction books. Once I start a series of any of these authors I am obsessed until I have read them all.

I like Francesca Lia Block - she writes kind of modern day fairy tales. Some are for adults and some young adults. But they're all good. They all have a message behind them and they are all beautifully written. Christopher Moore writes really funny novels. I laugh out loud when reading some of them. My favorite of his so far is "The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove"

Elizabeth Peters she is an archeologist who writes novels set in England and Egypt with most of her chapters being around or near the Valley of the Kings. The time period is cicera earl 1900's, her characters flow from book to book. She writes some or archeology, some of the political climate of the times, following one unusual family who always manage to end up in the middle of murder and intrigue. I also enjoy prehistorical novels, Jean Auel wrote several wonderful novels, yet I have to say I enjoy Micheal and Kathleen O'Gear about the best. The O'Gears write about early American civilizations, the crossing of the Bearing Strait into Alaska during the end of the Ice Age, Burial customs among the Florida natives preColumbus, the Anazai of the southwest and the Chokia of Middle America. They blend religion, war and everyday life into a story following a people from one 'age' to the next.

Stephen King, - One of my authors that I collect the written works from
Stephen King, the king of horror, he write such books that turn into movies and television shows. Sherrilyn Kenyon, writes paranormal romance. I found her and just had to have all the books she had written. Fortunately she had only written a handful that I needed to get.
