# 64 What is the funniest thing your grandmother has done?

When my grandmother was older she used to use some words that were very off color. It would take us by surprise when she did this. She had the most awesome laugh and when we would scold her for saying such bad words, she would let off a hearty laugh.

My grandparents used to have a holiday house in an island near our home. We usually went down for the holidays, and would rarely go down there any other time. Anyway, we were returning down there after not being down for a year, and my grandmother was driving. She usually goes quite fast because there is very little policemen on the island and no speeding cameras. It was dark and we were nearly asleep when BAM! My grandmother goes full speed over a speed hump. It had obviously been built why we hadn't been down there, and my grandma hadn't seen it in the dark. She didn't slow down, however, and while we were in shock in the backseat, she whispers 'Don't tell your grandpa!'

My grandmother is so funny, she once got a phone call from my mums next door neighbour to say i was having a party. She was saying i think your phone is broke it sounds as if you are in france when my gran got of the phone she noticed she had the phone upside down. When i was a baby she put the nappy on my head. I love her so much she is brilliant.
