# 80 A new years eve question

My 20-year-old son and I went to the restaurant where my husband works. We Had a wonderful time!

Some of the parents in the church had a get together with the youths in the church(ages 6-21) and had a fellowship they shut fireworks and ran around having a ball while us older ones sat in the house playing cards and having a ball then at 12 we prayed for a good year we all had fun

Well my excitment was playing a computer game until 11:00 then going next door to our sons house to watch the ball come down in NYC, ate a spoonful of pork and sour crout and going home to bed. I have been sick since Christmas morning. Yeh Happy Holidays! Bah Hum Bug!

We had fondue for dinner. My grandson was with us. He loved it that we cooked the meat on forks at the table. The grandson went to bed at 9:30. We watched a Cold Case and Without a Trace. After watching the ball drop in Times Square, we kissed each other and went to bed. We were so beat that we didn't even hear the phone ring shortly after we went to bed. We only know that the phone had to have rung, because our friends called and left a voice message to wish us a Happy New Year!

The children all managed to stay up till about ten oclock which is when we had our fireworks in the back garden. The youngest fell asleep about 11 (he's 5) and the other two stayed up with us watching a movie till midnight. I was in bed by about 1pm. Getting too old to do the party thing haha.

I celebrated by having all my family for dinner and drinks. We watched television and played some games until the count down to the new year began. Then we popped open a couple of battles of champagne and went out to our front garden to wish all our neighbours a happy new year. Some of them then came and joined us for a few drinks.

I went out to dinner at a very nice restaurant with my boyfriend and his family. I had the lasagna and it was very good. Then we went to my boyfriend's dad's house and watched a movie. We came home and I ate chips and dip and my boyfriend made me some cookies. We watched the ball drop together. Then he went to bed because he had to get up early and go to work.
