Iraq Pullout

Today the U.S. troop death count hit 3,000. Should the U.S. pull out of Iraq? Are these 3,000 deaths worth it? Are things actually being accomplished?

The price of freedom has always been high. Some do not appear willing to pay it these days.

I believe we should pull out as soon as possible because it seems that we are not making a different there at the moment. I actually things are getting worse since the US got involved over there. My fiance is over a Marine in Iraq at the moment and its sad to hear about so many deaths that occur over there.

I see that the Iraq situation is more personal to you than it is to me since you have a loved one over there. But like the above post says, the price of freedom is high and if that's what it takes to keep us safe then so be it. I think it is a very honorable thing to die for your country. I will pray for your husband that he might be able to come home soon and be safe.
