Which is better, electric, battery, or regular? Why? I will only be reading and rating each response. Thank you.

I have tried so many. I do like the battery ones that have a rotating head. They seem to clean best. But, sometimes nothing beats a crisp new toothbrush and a little baking soda.

My dentist said that an electric (battery operated) tooth brusdh is best for younger children (my son now has braces and he says it is more efficient than trying to brush under the wires) But a small headed normal toothbrush is good if you have good dexterity.

toothbrush - there has been a history of toothbrushes and a myriad of types to choose from
Regular since they are cheaper and easier to control so that you do not damage your teeth. Batteries also are hard to dispose of since they can pollute the environment. An electric one should only be used infrequently.
