First Aid

Do you know first aid and do you think that you could help someone using it? Do you think that first aid should be taught in schools so that most people know at least some first aid?

I wish I had of learnt first aid, first aid is a very good skill to have in whatever you do, because you never know when it will come in use! I nearly lost a job I applied for because I didn't have first aid. I told them I would be willing to go to college to learn it. It was one of the specs that you should be first aid trained. Working with children first aid is a necessity. It would be great if they started teaching it at schools as part of the curriculum, it could save lives and would be extremely invaluable to all.

Yes I know first aid and CPR - I was taught in elementary school how to do CPOR and also basic first aid, so it is being taught in some schools. It should also be the parents job to teach that to their children.
