Should I change my Avatar???

I just noticed that another user has the same avatar as I do even though I have been here much longer - I took a while to find the one that I thought totally suits me to a T!!! Should I change it or just not bother - I guess it's really not a big deal huh?? Just curious as to what you guys think - any & all opinions greatly appreciated!!!!

Leave it! Otherwise; how will I know that it's you, I like your discussion topics and am lead by your "eye". lol
I just changed mine though, I'm a cup of coffee now instead of a bear. There are entirely to many bears on Mylot.
I miss my bear. *sigh*

Ok Cool - am definitely going to keep it - wouldn't want to change it and have you miss my eye!!!!! LOL!!!

No problem at all. It is interesting to see the different avatars people chose (as well as being a great way to reconginise posts quickly).
Out of interest, do you look simiar to the picture in your avatar?

Well let's see - I would have to say Yes I do look similar to it - except for the fact that I have blue eyes - I of course tried to play around with it to see if I could somehow make the eyes blue - but never got it to work so just stuck with it!!!

I am bad about looking for my friends by their avatar and I have seen the other one just like yours and thought it was you ,,so I have answered some of their discussins too ...lol but if you like it and its the perfect one for you and your personality then keep it ...don't change what you like because someone else has the same one ... :)

If you get it first and you feel that makes part of you in here, you should keep it. the other user will understand and maybe will change theirs.

Thank You so much for your input on this. I agree with you - the one that I chose really suits me well so am keeping it - and luckily I haven't come upon the other user's one since that first time so at this point it's not bothering me. Hope you have a Great Day!!!!

I live by this : first come, first serve. So my dear, you, in my humble opinion, have every right to keep your avatar picture. The other person has every right to change theirs.
Now, I very much like your avatar picture. You have obviously chosen it for a good reason. Therefore, keep it! If the other persons avatar drives you nutty, than kindly ask them to change it out of respect. If that does not work...hmmmz...Send me his/her name in a message :)

I so agree with you on the first come, first serve!!! So I am definitely going to keep it!!! So far I have only come upon the other persons once so I guess you could say it hit me like BAM - I just liked the fact that I thought I was the only one on here that had this certain avatar - that's just me!!!
So at this point I am not going to do anything about it - but if it does somehow continue to bother me then you bet I will ask the other user to change it!!! Or contact you LOL!!!!!!

I haven't run across your "impostor" yet. They must not post a lot, because it seems that I would have seen it. Either way, you were here first, and this is the Avatar that defines you and your personality- so the other user should change his/her avatar out of respect. Maybe you could send a private message to them? Either way, I'll be sure it's "you" before I respond.

Cool - and I was thinking the exact same thing since I haven't come upon the user since the first time I saw it. And you are so right - I was here first - so in the event I come upon it more than I will definitely kindly ask them to change it. Hope you have a Terrific Thursday!!!!
