What are you really really good at, what is your claim to fame, if some described you what would they say first? How do you impress others?

You know, I try very hard not to be vain about much. I don't feel like I have much ground for doing so. I'm mildly artistic and I could write 24 hours a day 7 days a week if I didn't have other obligations. I enjoy crafting different things and even scrapbooking when I can find both the time and the inspiration. But none of these things are what I could call my "shining point". I'm almost embarassed over how dorky the one thing that I am most proud of about myself is. I came to Reno from a VERY small town in south florida 17 years ago. I was HOPELESSLY lost here. I couldn't find my a*s with both hands, a map and a flashlight. Funnily enough, now, it's impossible to get me lost here. I can direct just about anyone anywhere in this city and find just about anything. That, would be my pride in life. Silly, isn't it? Incidentally... I once called in a radio show. They had this contest called "where the heck are you?" and they would give you a street corner like "You're on the south west corner of state st and maine ave" or some such thing. They were giving away Tickets to see Styx (one of my all time favorite groups) with REO Speedwagon. I knew the answer. I could picture the place plainly in my head and when I called in and gave them the answer, they told me I was wrong... and not only were they INCORRECT, they were rude as hell about it! I was LIVID! I mean, I was fit to be tied! I called the radio stations manager and told him what had happened and that I KNEW I was right, that I was a dispatcher in this city for years and that the radio personalities were not only mistake, they were being jerks about it. I got my tickets. *evil grin*... lol

Well it's not really a talent as such .. but after years and years of being on or near the poverty line I have become pretty good at finding things ultra cheap for people .. I often get folks ask me where to buy things cheaply and with the assistance of my computer I can direct them to a web site tons cheaper than they have already found ... And I am told I am a good listener .. hardly a claim to fame though is it ...

I have a talent for working with children, it's my vocation in life, I can relate to them, empathize with them and according to my manager have an 'affinity' with them.

I am very skilled at getting annoying songs in my head and then getting them stuck in the heads of people I'm with. Very skilled. And it could be a song I haven't heard in eons but it suddenly pops into my head.
