Traffic In Northern Virginia

Does anyone else have the same traffic problems that we have in Northen Virginia?? I think that everybody around thinks that they are more important than everyone else. Agressive driving is an understate what for happens on our roads. People driving through the exits to get two cars ahead of you. Riding on the shoulder, cutting you off, running you off the road. It is absurd! How do you deal with it?
