Vicks has camphor in it as the active ingredient maybe it's that they are attracted to. How are they with mothballs? :-)

I had one cat that loved Bengay. The cats I have right now run from both Bengay and Vicks but I have known some that go nuts over it. They will lick your fingers or wherever it is until it's all gone. I don't understand it either. To me that would be just nasty but then again I'm not a cat.

I am laughing so hard right now I can hardly type--I have several cats that really really love the smell of Vicks. They think it's the best invention since catnip. I think it has something to do with the menthol smell. The reason I say this is because my cats act the same way with BenGay muscle rub.
