Nobel prize for Mathematics

There is Nobel prize for some fields like Peace, Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature, Economics, etc. But Why there is no Nobel prize the field of Mathematics. I feel that it should be there. What do you feel?

I think Nobel was free to make up his own mind what prizes he sponsored. Mathematics didn't enter into his list of inventions or discoveries of value to mankind; he was a practical man, not a theorist.
