Yes, I consider myself as a forgiving person. In the Holy Bible, God commands us to forgive so that the Father in heaven will also forgive us. God also said that vengeance is for Him and so whatever bad thing people do to us, we should forgive them and let God do the revenge. But forgetting is a different thing. We may forgive but it does not follow that we forget because we have the mind to remember things. But also, it doesn't mean that we are not forgiving if we couldn't forget.

I consider myself extremely forgiving. The only one who doesn't is the person who wanted to keep abusing me and I said no. In his mind, that means I wasn't forgiving. I've still forgiven him. I just prefer to be where he is not.

I'm a Christian, so I always try and forgive, although there are times when it's hard.

I do too. I may not forget easily but I certainly forgive more easily. I find it a waste of time to hold a grudge for too long. Life is short. Just got to let go of the past and move on.
