milkfish "bangus" is famous here in the Philippines with the 250-300 bones deboned and served boneless. Any fish is fine with me as long as it is fresh, no soil taste, and fillet. It's the bones I hate, I used to pray especially when I would eat a fish known with many bones, "Lord, thank you for your grace, grant me grace to enjoy this grace." :)

I like barilis or yellow fin. I like it half cooked, or with coconut milk. and pogafo or what you call that, lapulapu

Normaly I like my food fresh but for some reason I prefer the fish patties over fresh. which is fine since my husband is allergic to fish and can't eat it. So once in a while I go to Long JOhn Silvers to get my fish.

Initially I was going to answer tuna as sushi but then I remebered having Monkfish once. This fish was served griled with a tart and zesty tamarind sauce. It also has the consistency of lobster which I also love. I cannot remember what type of restaurant I had it in but would sure like to find another that serves it.
