I know I tend to use the same password on emails and some other sites, only changing it periodically, do you? Do you use the same password for all the sites that call for it, or do you change your password up and are forever trying to remember what your password is??

No, depending if my husband has access to the site, then we use a password we both know, but on site's where I am the only one using it, I use my own password.

Yes I do use the same pw on many different sites. If I use different ones, I will forget them. It has happened to me already and I never found out my pw for it.

No I don't I use the same name but different pastwords. they say it is not good to always use the same pasword, because of hackers. I don't know how they can't tell, because there's no letters?

I use the same password for all of my email and internet stuff... I use a different one for my online banking things, and I do think it makes it a little easier than remembering ten passwords!

I use several different passwords. I feel that just using one could end up creating me grief later on down the road. My problem is I used to have all of this written down on a piece of paper but since I recently moved and have some more boxes to unpack I can't find the piece of paper!(LOL)

No I tend to use about 6 or 7 different passwords. and I change them about every 2 or 3 months. and all my passwords have about 20 characters in them. the longer the better.

I use one special password each for my financial stuff and things that's show my real personal info. The rest pretty much have all the same password. I don't think I could remember them all if I have different ones for each thing.

No, I use different passwords. If I start a new program, I will email myself the link, username and password. These are all contained in a special folder at my email account. If my hard-drive ever goes down, I can always refer to my email folder to find the password and link.

This is a toughest part which i had to deal with where i have lots of accounts with and had to use different passwords for different sites due to security reasons and found it very annoying and difficult to remember and i often end up forgetting most of them. Then only i came to know about password manager namely roboform which can be dowloaded for free from www.roboform.com/ It is a very useful utility to manage all your passwords of any sites , it will remember no matter which site you use. It is alos very secure and it can also generate passwords for you if you need for any sites.

Nope different ones for each site. Thank God for Roboform it keeps them all straight. I back them up to a disc at regular times but Roboform keeps them handy on the pc and I don't have to dig through notebooks looking for them. I even keep track of some of my moms passwords for her and hubbys too. LIVE IN PEACE

Hello, texasclassygirls,I had different passwords for different sites,as i had joined more and more online sites, it was harder and harder for me to remember all, sometimes i would forgot some of the passwords and get locked out. For most of the sites,i would not change the passwords but for online banking account,i will change it regularly to improve the safety, but it was also the reason i had forgetten the password at times and need to request for a new one while my account was frozen.
