I agree totally with that statement, its a respect thing and makes the person feel as if what they are saying is valid.

I think it is very important to listen to others! When you really listen to others when they speak, you are showing them respect for their opinions, and you are also showing them that you care for them. I think people won't listen to you if you don't give them the same courtesy of listening to them back. A person doesn't always have to agree with the opinions of others, but they still should be respected for having one, and listened to. Bless your son for having the wisdom to seek opinions of others...he is willing to listen. Some lessons are hard to go through, but it is important that we learn from every lesson life gives us.

Yes, he sounds like a very smart little guy! You don't meet many kids that age who are so tuned in to life's meanings and the little things in it that make a difference. He will go far in his life, especially with a mother like you! I see too many Mom's (and Dad's) in this day and age that would just ignore the questions of the youth and not pursue them. (Children learn from THAT example too!)

How astute of your son to realise this at such a young age, so tell him he is right and listening to others is all about respect. It is respect for the person, their opinion as well as respecting yourself. :)

Yes there are still water restrictions in many places gnilraps. We recently travelled over the Western Australia and it was evident in many places, including through South Australia. Also just come back from Sydney to south west NSW and noted how dry it still is around Goulburn plus Sydney is still on water restrictions as well. Many of the farmers here in our area have no water, and even those on irrigated farms are getting as little as nothing but might be up around 18% of their water right.

This is totally off the subject ossie16d, but are you experiencing great big water restrictions too? It's just that I'm not clear if it is Aust wide or just where I am (brissy).
