I like musicals. I am not into seeing the movies though. My fave musical is West Side Story. My fave opera is Phantom of the Opera.

I prefer the original recording of Phantom.. to the film version. The show is so fascinating, but it kind of goes a bit boring on film, we're so use to special effects nowadays.

I love musicals! They are my passion, and also my work. It's so difficult to chose one favourite, but mine will be Tell Me On A Sunday (the Song part of Song&Dance). The songs are fantastic (from before Webber went boring) and the best part is they are all perfect for my voice, in range and style! Even though a lot of other shows are just as good shows, that detail makes this one my favourite. But generally, I never enjoy the film versions as much as I do the stage versions. It's greate they are being made, they reach a wider audience and some of them have good points in them, but the shows are made for stage, and lose quite a lot in films. That's why Moulin Rouge worked so well but not the others - Moulin Rouge was written for film, so it worked!

In our house my older brother is actually the one who went on this huge Grease kick. Mom worried about it for a bit...

I love musicals. Unfortunately, I've never been to one on Broadway. So, I have to either watch the movie versions or get clips from the Tony Awards. I've never seen the whole musical, either on stage or film version (don't think there is a film version) but I love the songs from Miss Saigon. I love the film version of Chicago. Hopefully I'll get to see a musical on Broadway one of these days.

I love musicals. :) I don't have many chances of seeing them live, though. Too bad! My favourite are "Rent" and "Tick, tick... BOOM!". My favourite songs from them are "Tango: Maureen" and "Another day" from "Rent"; "Johnny can't decide" and "Come to your senses" from "Tick, tick... BOOM!". :)
