Who does the majority of the cooking in your household (if you live alone, I guess this poll doesn't apply to you LOL), you or your mate/spouse/S.O.? Because I work till 6 every weekday and commute an hour each way, my hubby has become quite the cook at home, and loves to bake and such. At first it was a little depressing, knowing that I wasn't the one providing the extravagant suppers for our family, but now I quite enjoy coming home once or twice a week to a nice meal after running around like a chicken with my head cut off for eight hours LOL!

It all falls on me. My hubby was spoiled when he was little being the youngest and the only boy. It's overwhelming at times but it's cool cause I knew it when I married him :) I love taking care of him though. I just wish I could stay home to do it :) He's got major back problems too so when he's not working he doesn't feel like doing anything. Which I totally understand. It's great though that your hubby helps.

I don't live with my guy yet, but I've been dating him long enough to know how it will be when we get married in May. We don't eat meals 50% of the time b/c I am a vegetarian and he is not. So 50% of the time we fend for ourselves. The other 50% of the time it's just whoever is in the mood to cook. I work til 5 and don't get home til 5:45, and he works in retail so his schedule changes. So we've learned to have dinner around 7 every night. It's easier that way anyway because then we usually have a small snack at 10 and I don't feel the need for a late night snack!

I'm a stay at home mom to our 18 month old son and I do 100% of the cooking. It would be nice to get a break on the weekends though but ah well, so it goes I guess. Every now and then he'll do it but it's usually just sticking something frozen in the oven. It's sort of odd though because HE did almost all the cooking when I was pregnant, when I didn't have anything else to do lol.
