I have been terminated from Macy,s for breaking policy. As an employee, In order for me to receive my 20% discount I had to open an account, making me a customer as well. Which brings me to my question. Are they allowd to go into your account and check your returns? I asked customer service and they said yes, but no where in the privacy act does it imply this. Are they crossing the line by doing this, and what are my rights? That's how I was terminated.

Check the legal agreement you signed. It should include all the rules under which they can terminate your agreement. Most companies have a clause that says they can terminate it for any cause.
If you still think you were treated unfairly, see if they have a customer care office. If not, contact the local ombudsman for financial institutions.
