Eeesh, what a messy thing it's been. I think they're overreacting, professionally, to something which wasn't a big deal to start with. I notice that the original issue got lost pretty quickly, too. Anyone remember what started this? The kid's "past", all what, 20 years of it, was the big moral thing. Childish, yeah, but kids in the playground can be nasty, particularly when they're the really big kids. They're not doing anyone a service by keeping this going.

Probably should have added the details. The original problem was that Miss Universe was going to get her crown taken away for her past indiscreet life. Trump said no, she can keep it, Oprah attacked him for doing that, he's now suing her.

I never cared to watch Donald Trump's show, and I work during the day, so don't watch The View. Rosie has gotten a little more ascerbic in the past few years, so I've lost a lot of interest in her also. I feel she could have said what she wanted to and maybe no one would have paid much attention, but when she made fun of his hair and gestured with her hair to show everyone, that was taking it too far and was probably what caused him to retaliate. Now, it has gotten to the eye-rolling category and is just a little amusing to me. I mean really...no other good news to report today? LOL I certainly don't think they'd collaborate on anything, even if it was the idea of fighting to get more ratings.

I'm with you. I think it is for ratings, but enough already! Get over yourselves and move on. Leave each other alone. It has now gone into Barbara Walters life.

I think you are on the right track. Both of these people have some pretty high negatives. Starting a fake feud to get people to tune in surely sounds like a plan these kind of people would come up with.
