Beckham, former MU's right wing, is moving to LA.Galaxy after his contract end. supposed he intended to move to MU, do you thing MU still need him? is there still a place for him in MU squad?

I don't think that there is a place for him in the UK at all right now. He demands attention because of his personality, but his performance struggles to live up to his reputation. (This is natural when you get a bit older..) I think it is probably a smart move to go to the 'States, he will certainly be a big fish there. He is over-shaddowed by other talents in Europe. the most disappointing element of this from my point of view is that he will not stand any chance of returning to the England squad if he plays in the US... At best if he played in England he would be one of the highest paid substitutes ever, as he would probably not be able to match the fitness of younger players. I heard that Channel 5 in the UK will feature the US league next year so that we will be able to track his progress, I look forward to that, I hope he has great success, he has great heart and deserves to reap the rewards. I wish him and his family every success.

It would not be right for him to come back to the UK, he would be criticised too much by the media (comment in todays press by Graham Taylor - and he should know!) Much though I like to see him play here...he has taken the decision which is right for him. Look what happens to old players in the UK, they must be commentators, managers or play in the lower leagues - if this doesn't suit Beckham (and I believe it doesn't) - he has made the right move.

You're kidding! Even tho' I'm not a Man U supporter as such, I know that a left-winger can't be realistically replaced by a right-winger!!.. Giggs is playing out of his skin at the moment and would be an asset to any team in the world. With Ronaldo in the side, it would be difficult to play Beckham, and you can hardly kick Ronaldo out can you??

Well i knew it would be like this becks to US is a great move for him he has sacrifised his england chance now and gettin paid 250 M in 5 years isnt bad business at all I think he has passed his prime so to earn that much , even after 32 , to LA its good Posh will love it in US the kids will love he has got his school out there in US his friend TOM CRUISE is out there it will be great deal but i hope he is remembered as a great footballer who helped us to win the treble rather than jus a fashion icon

are you sure about this issue? i tought this deal is still working on. about him returning back to the red devil? i think there's no place for them. right now the brazilian winger seems on a good shape for that team.

deal was apparently signed and sealed before Christmas - it was just a case of when the announcement was made. Obviously half -way through a season is not the best time to announce, but I think hands were forced here..
