My first computer was a picket slide rule. Of course, that is an analog computer. My first digital computer was a Commodore +4. This was a short lived business successor to the famous Commodore 64. It was actually a pretty good computer in its time. 1 mhz clock speed, 64k of memory and Commodore BASIC in ROM along with Commodore operating system. Ah... the memories!

Mine was a Tandy 1000. I bought a harddrive for it and it cost $1000. That's as much as a whole computer system costs today.

I agree. I didn't get the chance to buy myself a hard drive till I owned an IBM 286, huge gigantic drives with 20M of memory. After that I was proud to have owned the world's most powerful computer the 386 generation. Isn't that funny. lol
