Its raining, its pouring...

..the old man is snoring!! That's how the song went back in high school.
Boy, its pouring like crazy here in Arlington, Texas. There is a forecast of sleet and freezing rain tomorrow. There go my shopping plans for the weekend..grrr!
This rain is making me sleepy, I wish I could just cuddle up with my soft toys in bed. I would have preferred my hubby but he is at work now,so will have to do with my softies,lol!
What do you do on a rainy day? Sleep,eat,read,watch tv..what?

Well there are four of us here, me, my husband and two little girls. We read, watch tv and things like that. Today it's raining and yucky, so we are so far doing our own things. I think we are all just tired from last week. Seem to be a busy week for us all.

I was floored when I heard that is snowed your way. What crazy weather we are having. When the weather isn't great for outside play, we will do a lot of inside chores. I like to bake when it is cold outside. In the eveing I will get out my needlework.

Sometimes I do what you said, But many other times, I dance and sing to the clouds Thanking them for sending the rain for making the Grass Grow, the corn grow, and for bringing new water to keep our marsh fresh :) . I often work with the rain spirits, so singing to the rain spirits when it rains helps make them happy so they do not flood us, or drought us. :) . - DNatureofDTrain

it's funny u said about not going shopping now because of the weather forcast, because i remember when i lived in in Killeen texas and we got like a 1/16th inch of ice and everything closed including the military base. i just found it funny because coming from pennsylvania that was nothing, but in Texas since they have nothing to really treat the roads and just how the roads are paved make it horrible to drive in. anyways, i usually just waerin my comfy clothes and watch a good movie,

Hehe, I know what you mean, for the rest of the counrty this little bit of rain is nothing, esp in states where it snows!! But for Texans something apart from the bright sun puts everything off track..lol And my hubby is very cautious and prefers to stay indoors in such times. So poor me, no shopping!
