Dirty 4 letter words.

A young couple got married and went on a cruise for their honeymoon.
When they arrived home from the honeymoon, the bride immediately called
her mother, who lived a couple of hours away.
"Well, darling," said her mom, "how was the honeymoon?"
"Oh, mother," she replied, "the honeymoon was wonderful! So romantic,
we had a terrific time! But, mother, as soon as we returned, Sam began
using really horrible language... Stuff I'd never heard before...
Really terrible 4-letter words... You've got to come get me and take me
home. PLEASE MOTHER!"
And the new bride began to sob over the telephone.
"But honey," the mother countered, "WHAT 4-letter words?"
"I can't tell you, mother," said the daughter, "they're too awful!
COME GET ME, PLEASE!"
"Darling daughter, you must tell me what has you so upset... Tell
mother the 4-letter words!"
Still sobbing, the bride said, "Mother.... he is using words like:
DUST... WASH... IRON... COOK!

This was very funny to read and am glad that you brought this up. I guess that she is not used to doing any of those things and it must have been a shock to her. LOL Yes, those are definitely dirty words that both husband and wives need to share responsibilities for. A lot of people probably do not like doing any of those four things.

My husband once told me that he loved to have his shirts and pants to be neat and ironed. I told him I had an iron but would need to buy an ironing board so HE could iron his clothes. I do not iron.

LOL! I can relate. I don't enjoy any of those activities very much myself! I guess that I am lucky I haven't had to do too much of any of them just yet. I don't know if anyone really still uses an iron, either. But I sure would like to, as I have some clothes that could use it. They keep wrinkling up, and it's annoying! *laugh*

HaHa! Wow, a great joke that is also clean. For that I thank you! Yes, those are 4-letter words for sure, especially the IRON! I dearly hate ironing and will do anything to get out of it. I have recently even gone so far as to buy a clothes steamer. So far,I am okay with using it. Of course it is better for light pressing and it is hard to use on collars etc. Thanks again for the great laugh!

thanks for this dose of humor. all of us need it every now and then...i'll surely narrate this to my boyfriend...he loves jokes which involve wedded couples ( since we are planning to get married soon). he does all this on his own presently(since he stays alone) but he'll surely help with cooking and dusting part:)

Vicky that was so funny !!! Dust Wash Iron Cook, I know the feeling, sometimes I wish I weren't Married, because those are the things you half to do, If I had My own, I would do it when I felt like it.
