is cricket better than hockey?

Well it is just a matter of choice, some may find hockey better than cricket. Regarding the two games cricket has been given more publicity i feel.

yes but i think hockey also good it is very small game then cricket.

I think that hockey is better because it is closer to football than cricket is.

i want to say one thing you cannot compare cricket and hockey both have their own style of play..hockey is our national sport and it has its own pride....coming to cricket it is a sport in which always something will be happening all the time that is why people like it the most....i feel both have their own importance

I think you have little knowledge about games in general. Cricket is played by bat and ball, but hockey is played by Hockey Stick and ball. Both types of games use diffrent types of ball. Game rules are vastly diffrent from each other, so how can you compare these two diffrent forms of games.
