Insomnia

how many of u have this problem.....i don't have it prenially....i get it sometimes if i am stressful and stuff u know...whats the actually reason forinsomnia....al i know is if it lasts for too l ong then its not gud...in those phases where i get insomnia, what should i do....

I usually take a warm bath and take two Tylenol pm tablets

I have had chronic insomnia for years and it is really horrible to go through. I've tried to figure it out but sometimes there seems to be no pattern. It could be stress...sometimes too much caffeine during the day...and sometimes no reason at all. Some tricks I try is putting the TV on low for awhile or changing rooms to sleep. It seems the change of environment can help. My cat also helps sometimes by putting her on my chest and letting her start to purr. You may also want to try putting on relaxing music. I've also found all natural herbal remedies can be helpful too.

well i do suffer this sometimes when i'm thinking too much but not drinking caffeinated beverages seemed to help and exercise too tires you much that you won't have time to think but nap

There are two types of insomnia, primary and secondary. The common causes for insomnia are: 1.Circadian Rythm sleep disorder 2.Parasomnia 3.Mania 4.Stimulants 5.Dehydration 6.Lack of Excercise You can rely on sleeping tablets and sedatives for treating insomnia. Apart from that you can take help of psychotherapy.
